I'm happy to announce BlackBerryBoards & BlackBerryBoardsNews has a Sister Site, BlackBerryLadies.Com. Although BlackBerryLadies was born in July, I asked RickyG to allow me to delay the announcement of it being a sister site until I felt it had a solid membership and forum. I did not want any failings on my part as a new website owner to reflect negatively on BBB or BBBN. As soon as I purchased the domain and vBulletin RickyG started hosting and building the site. It took me longer to decide the colors and pick a theme than it did for him to build it. Since I recently purchased vBulletin 4.0 Suite BBL will start going thru some construction, just as BBB has been, when RickyG starts the upgrade. My goal was to reach 250 members by January 1, 2010. I'm confident we will reach that goal as we only need another 20 members. BBL has some great BlackBerry and non-BlackBerry related forum topics. I'm particularly excited about a contest to win a new unlocked BlackBerry Storm1 or runner-up prizes of 10 unlock codes which were all donated by Horizon Wireless Online. We also have a thread for "ReGifting" where you can post a new or used BlackBerry device or accessory you no longer need. Someone who can use that item can post they would like to have it and the owner of the device or accessory will send it to them at no cost to the receiver. Hopefully the reciever will have an item they can provide to someone but that is not required. These are just examples of the many exciting things happening at BBL.
